Sleigh All Day Cowl | Pattern
In stock
A 24-day advent knitting adventure with lace and brioche.
This pattern is written for a 24-skein advent calendar with 10- or 20-gram minis in a fingering weight. You may substitute the mini skeins with scraps and leftovers or a combination of full skeins in two or three colors.
The pattern includes different sections of lace repeats, one-color brioche and texture, making this a fun, beginner-friendly project, broken down into day by day instructions.
This cowl is knit in the round, utilizing a provisional cast on to create an infinite tube to wrap yourself in when the weather turns colder.

Alternative Ideas
- If you’d like to work the Two-Color Brioche Sections, I highly recommend adding a 100- gram tonal to use as your CC color. Be aware that the CC will only show through the front (right) side of the cowl since the wrong side will be the inside of the tube.
- You can work the Garter Sections in the CC as well if you prefer a color break between each section.
- You can hold a strand of fluff alongside your yarn during the Garter Sections for a pop of fuzzy floof.
- If you’d like a wider cowl, cast on additional stitches in multiples of 12.

Base Information
All of our current base information can be viewed on the Bases page. Because our bases come and go, this will be the best place to find current, correct information.
Care Instructions
It is recommended to hand wash and lay flat to dry, but the fiber is machine-wash and dry-able.
Each skein is thoroughly rinsed, but be aware that some additional bleeding may occur for the first few washes. You can include a color-catcher or a bit of white vinegar as added protection.
Additional Information
Small batch hand-dyed yarn is unique in that no two skeins are identical. If you are working on a project with multiple skeins, we highly recommend alternating them to prevent pooling and to blend them together.
Each listing price is for one skein of yarn, unless otherwise stated in the description.
