Moonplume was inspired by its dragon namesake from When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A Parker. In When the Moon Hatched, moonplume dragons are described as beautiful, light-colored, and ethereal dragons that live in icy, colder parts of the world. I imagined them with iridescent, icy scales. They live in cold weather climates and can’t be in the sun.

Care Instructions
It is recommended to hand wash and lay flat to dry, but the fiber is machine-wash and dry-able.
Each skein is thoroughly rinsed, but be aware that some additional bleeding may occur for the first few washes. You can include a color-catcher or a bit of white vinegar as added protection.
Additional Information
Small batch hand-dyed yarn is unique in that no two skeins are identical. If you are working on a project with multiple skeins, we highly recommend alternating them to prevent pooling and to blend them together.
